Rate & Share Thoughts On Discount Camping

Happy Camper, Good Sam and I am sure there are many other's I just do not remember them right now all say will save you $$.
We are Good Sam members but see that Happy Camper Club is also pretty decent discounts available.

Wondering what others use or recommend......

Thanks

Jim & Trina

Passport america is a good program also. We use is often when traveling for one or two night stays, just read the restrictions that are different from place to place, example some require resverations other do not.

We mostly use Passport America and on occasion Good Sam. We also use casinos, some fairgrounds, Cabela's, city & county parks. There are 2 books by Don Wright, Free Campgrounds, Western & Eastern edition (Amazon). Nick Russell, who writes the Gypsy Journal also has publications about lower cost camping, like the Elks, www.gypsyjournal.net., www.casinocamper.com. If you are a senior with the federal pass you can stay at Corps of Engineer campgrounds for half price, usually have water & elec with dump onsite.
