I'll be among the first to defend truckers. My son who's 54 has been a long haul, regional and local driver for almost 30 years.
My observation above is more and more people everywhere leave their vehicles at the pump to shop.
89-90% of truckers are workers, hourly or otherwise. Not business people or independents that own or lease their units.
