Truck & camper insurance?

It's that time of the year for me to pay the insurance for the truck and 5'r, hurts my feelings to say the least. I have my 2007 Ford F-350 and 2008 Cameo insured with Geico, my yearly payment is about $1800. I'm sure there has to be a better way to insure our wheels and save some money to go toward everyone favorite past time. What are others paying for with similar rigs as ours? Looking for any assistance to save so travel monies.

Sorry for some miss spelling, auto correct on mobile devices are often making me look ignorant.

We've also been looking into truck/camper insurance. We have yet to purchase either. Did you find a package deal somewhere? I know that if you only insure a camper with Progressive it isn't that expensive. ...well, from what we can gather so far.

That seems high. My rig costs me 860 a year for both. Full coverage with 500 deductible.

Hard to compare: rates are based on vehicle, location, mileage, driving record and credit rating.

Live in high crime or above avg accident location, rate hike
drive vehicle with higher stolen rate or costlier to repair, rate hike
Have speeding tickets or accidents on record, rate hike
Drive twice the avg mileage, rate hike
Have low credit score, rate hike

If any of you are a vet or have a parent that is a vet, ussa has great Rv insurance. I have full insurance including hail the works on my 5 th wheel and it was just an additional $70 per year. I love them!!

When did USAA start covering RVs? Last I checked they wanted us to go through Progressive.

We went through Good Sam which uses National General Insurance. Thankful we haven't had to use it yet! We have been full time since September 2015 in a 5th wheel.... Rates were reasonable but yes, it does depend on your state of residency, year and type of vehicle.

We went through Good Sam. Full coverage for our Dodge diesel, Toyota Landcruiser and Monaco Diplomat. $500.00 deductable and $1400.00 per year. Had a wind storm remove the roof from my shop and a roof panel took out the front a/c unit, satalite dish, and windshield on the Diplomat. Covered with no problems.
