Winter plans, good or no?

So i bought a thousand trails base membership with the encore/trails collection add on. in south texas there are tons of encore resorts. my plan is to stay 2 weeks in system, pay for a week out and then back in. essentially 5 weeks for the cost of one. has anyone tried this in that area and if so how did it go?

Might be a good idea to check with the RV parks involved first. Some have peak season restrictions, and reservations may be difficult to arrange during that time period.
Otherwise, your plan sounds doable.

It depends on which membership you bought. The zone pass will not let you make reservations more tha 60 days in advance. In Florida that effectively means that you would be locked out December thru March.
