"I'll bet those numbers would wrinkle some local government feathers!"

Oh yeah!

Can't wait to see what the Supreme Court does about the "citizen" question for the upcoming Census...I believe the data is used to determine congressional and senate legislative districts based on population...there was a real push last time to get you to fill it out, volunteer people with GOV Census badges showed up on Long Island New York at your door just to make sure you got it and mailed it in...

Gov has way too much information on us all already but the US Constitution specifically requires taking the Census

I took the census training workshop for the 1990 census. I was living in very rural Oklahoma. We were trained to so we could go to houses that did not submit their census forms.

At that time the concern was people who were unable to read English. Oklahoma had a considerable Native American population that may have been educated in tribal schools.

Once I heard about some of the dangerous encounters that rural census personnel had experienced, I opted out.

New change to census rules beginning with 2020 offer online completion of census forms so we should all be able to register easier.

Well, that’s encouraging!
Perhaps the system was set up by the same folks who brought us the Iowa Caucuses.
