Any of you own lots other than in park for rv?

Downside? Here, we have genuine Winter weather, and so I keep the SB. It's on 5 acres in MO, surrounded by hundreds of acres of farmland, so it's kinda quiet

About 150/lot. for all the 'lots' I bought, I pay out 900/year, and that includes mowing on the grassy ones.

What part of the country are you interested? We have a wondeful setup in north Alabama. I have known of folks who just built a simple metal building like an auto shop or horse barn style. Then put inside what ever you want. Good luck.

We have 10 acres in Antelope Acres Estates which we will eventually develop with power, septic and a little casa made of half-buried 40' metal shipping containers.

Great for a hunker-down and work on the rig place. We love West Texas.

Well when I had a sticks and bricks I had to buy a 2nd lot to hold the RV.. but that was in back of the lot the house was on so I do not think it counts (Adjcent properly, abandoned before I bought it, I gave it to the bank when I gave them the house) cost me 368 including title transfer fee).

We still have the S&B back home which lately we have not spent much time at. The summer months we are usually in Northern MI and stay at the sister-in-laws which has a 50amp hookup, water and sewer. Winters will for now be South and for what we pay for rent in the park we are in, it wouldn't make any sense to us to purchase a lot there. For what they're asking for the price of the lot if wanted to purchase it, we can rent here for the next 16 years for 5 months/yr and not have to worry about monthly HOA fees, taxes, utilities or insurance and then down the road have to worry about trying to sell it. Financially this is a much better system for us.

Escapees in Livingston, Texas has deeded lots. We were lucky enough to find just outside the Escapees Headquarters 4.5 acres with four RV FHU's and two storage sheds. The deeded lots range from folk having RV FHU's and storage sheds to full sticks and bricks.

Yep, it's east of Cornudas and AAE. It will be awhile before we get out there.

weird thing is if you just want to put a pad for your rv and then maybe a small shed......
the shed can only be 8x10.....but if you build a garage (roll up door), then it can be bigger.

Is that a stair well on the side of the motorhome that you can use to get safely up to the higher parts? That's what I need is a guarded stair rail, maybe like a mobile home stair rail, that way I could be comfortable about getting up on the high sides to do washing/waxing and maintenance stuff. I'm scared to death of heights and hate being more than 2 steps up on a ladder.....

This place - Deer Creek Motorcoach Resort In The Blue Ridge Mountains. - outside of Galax, VA at the VA/NC state line just off the Blue Ridge Parkway sells deeded lots and the owners can build a 10'X15' cabin that many of the residents have fixed up with full bathrooms, laundry rooms and TV areas. I bought there three summers ago and built the cabin, just waiting to complete the inside this summer. Yearly fees at $900 and my property taxes are less than $100 a year :-)
