I have the TSD card number in the app but have not figured out how to start the pump with the app. Hmm!

I don't think they still offer a card with the 5% reward on fuel today. But those that have one, are grandfather in

I have no idea why this is. I must fit some demographic or other. I have good credit, 10 tears with a very good payment record with them, have had about 20,000 in some form of investment of theirs but they shut me off if I travel and tie my limit to my savings. Others never get shut off or don't have any money there. Perhaps it is because I pay it off monthly ans so pay no interest. We are looking at the Ducks Unlimited card which has the same terms and benefits. That way I can retire the PenFed to backup status.

Nope. That is what we do too. I have no idea how they make any money off of us who only use it for gas and pay it off. If I were you I would have a discussion with PenFed knowing now that they don't limit others the way they do you. Good luck.

They make money from the merchant. A percentage is taken from the total credit.

Now-a-days you will see the advertised price as "Cash" and the credit price will be higher. This is to offset the merchants costs.
