Domicile decisions (family vs a SD service)

We left Michigan and had family do the mail for about a year. It just didn't work out well, switched to SD and found the health insurance and all the vehicle insurance was a lot cheaper. Also plates for the vehicles was less. The service we had was wonderful to work with and they let us know if anything was coming due like plates renewal, they took care of that too. No more dealing with family doing the big job of forwarding mail, lost mail and open mail....

We have been using AMB in SD since 2016 and are very happy with them.

Your family situation may be different but there is no way I would let a family member be responsible for my mail, even if they were doing it for free.

Thinkg back on the family doing the mail for us, and yes we paid them too. But they tossed the junk mail and only sent the good stuff, but a $10,000 check envelope must have looked like junk mail to the Brother in Law....took many months to get that problem fixed. Part of the reason to hire a real mail service.
