Etiquette question

Hello, new to this forum and new to the lifestyle. Hubby and I started full timing mid June. Had a strange experience and wondering if this is the norm. Twice we have had new campers arrive next to us and they have left their blinds/curtains open. They left them open all night so when we were sitting outside we could see everything. I unfortunately got to see someone changing. Not a fun experience and very awkward. Are we the odd one? If we have neighbors we always keep the opposite side windows covered. Any advice appreciated, loving this life.

Thank you for the link, new to this and we don't want to offend our neighbors. We try to always say hello and set a good vibe.

It was difficult they were directly beside us, very tight space. Wasn't looking on purpose. Thanks for your reply

We generally leave our blinds open till bed time.

This is one of the reasons we try to avoid "RV parks" and rather look for State, City, county and COE parks for our stays.

Thank you for a different experience, we try to learn a new something every day!
.
2003, we converted a 1997 Ford CF8000 commercial truck to our concept of an ExpeditionVehicle.
Full-time live-aboard for nearly two decades.
.
Our caravans are usually groups of old folks with 'relaxed' attitudes about clothing... (the 1960s were 'interesting').
At remote mountain lakes or isolated Baja beaches, nobody much cares about duds, versions of, or various lacks thereof.
.
A frequent evening campfire topic is 'who has the best tuchus?'.
Generally, everybody votes for their own... with a prancing to provide supporting evidence.
.
Like I said, relaxed.
The vibe we set:
* it is just skin.

to clap and cheer was an amazing response but may result in more opportunities for viewing since they didn't see the need to close the blinds the first time

that poll did not ask specifics about "when" just do you leave them open or not, I voted to keep them open when I like, but that was in my mind as to when it is appropriate, when I am changing, using the restroom, going to bed, they get closed but my windows are tinted so no one can see in if it is brighter out than in anyway

If we are facing our Class A into where people are we close them.
Other wise just the Sun shade is down. The privacy shade will be down if the sun shines in in the morning or other people.

People forget with day shades that at night they can’t see out but you can in. It’s happened a few times in our travels. My DW was aware early as we walk the park for exercise and as a result always closes the night shades at dusk because of the views we’ve had on our evening strolls [emoji6]but many have yet to learn or don’t care. Unfortunately the views are mostly things that can’t be unseen but should be , especially with older FT campers ! [emoji4]

Be thankful they aren't your forever neighbors and one or both of you will move at some point!! We keep ours up during the day and close them in the evening until we are dressed in the morning. We don't have windows on the kitchen side of our coach, so keeping the driver's side closed all day is not desirable for us. We didn't purchase our coach to live in a cave.
