Yeah, me too, but probably my expectations were pretty high. I’d been talking with Ben since February and I guess it’s just timing.

Speaking of timing..... Look at the hurricane track and where we are today (we’re the blue dot here in Baton Rouge)

The DW wants to make a run for it to Destin.

I told her that’s not a good idea....however, I grew up in Florida and love the “excitement” of a hurricane so I’m tempted.

When I get up tomorrow we’ll see how much it’s grown and then decide.

It wasn't until the last page that red flags were raised in reference to the storm. Suggest you stay put for 36 hours.

FLORIDA or BUST!

Sit tight .. it’s fast moving and will be gone by the weekend. You don’t want to have some issue that detains you in the middle of that mess. Florida will still be there in a few days . It’s too hot here this week anyway [emoji6]
Landfall Wednesday afternoon .. TODAY and 100mph winds

I wouldn’t move on today or even the next few days. You are going to more than likely get affects from the storm where you are now. I wouldn’t want to move into the storm area now.

I will agree with another poster, check out North Trail and tour around Florida for a used rig I’m sure there will be many to look over there. No rush right?

Stay safe and enjoy the journey!

I am enjoying following it.

Glad you out ran Zeta, nice job!!! She’s stronger than they thought.
You’ll love PCB, hope you found a nice spot to rest up. If you’re still in the area on Friday, try Tootsies in Pier Park on Panama City Beach for their Low Country Boil. Buy a beer/drink and get it for free. Yum.

Hey BobMar! Yeah I think it’s an OK place we’re in a Walmart parking lot and not any big trees around it so that’s good and the winds kicking up here at 10:30 but not terrible I would say there may be 35 miles an hour with gusts up to 45 or so we have our Jack’s down and everything seems stable so I think we’re in good shape.

Tootsies Eh? My mom‘s name was Matilda and her brothers always called her Toots or Tootsie. And yes we are thinking about staying around just to go back in check out Destin in Navarre so if we do we will be sure to give tootsies a try!
Thanks!
