It seems since so many are traveling and doing full time, costs are really going up so that is a bit of a stress now. Good luck

Consider volunteering at state and national parks. You can get FHU sites in exchange for 24/hours a week and it gives you something to do and be involved which can be good during your transition to FT life. Try it once, you just might get hooked!

I'll second it..... get into doing some volunteering in the parks. They need you & it would give you a purpose of helping out. If you're not up to being a campground host there are many other opportunities such as in maintenance, the Visitor Center, helping with various programs, etc. We loved giving lighthouse tours but we've also hosted. All public facilities utilize volunteers such as the fish hatcheries. Apply in areas that you would like to explore because you'll have free time. To start, I wouldn't recommend getting into a secluded park. I think you need people around.

My wife and I recently started full-timing in our new to us 2015 Keystone Cougar. We decided to start this full-time RV journey after surviving the Route 91 Harvest festival shooting. We were right at ground zero, saw and experienced things that no one should ever see. After a near death experience and struggling with daily life, we realized that the life we were living was not living! We started to make the switch to full-timing, sold off most of our possessions, rented out our house and bought the 5th wheel.

I never understood what anxiety was, now I have it quite often. I find personally that life on the road has helped me. just my .02, also we kept your house and rented it out so there's a little stress there.
