Not yet being full time but I still have a stacked unit. Had a combo on the last rig and never used it because we were limited to weekends and short vacations by work and school for the grandkids we "inherited" when their mother died of a blood clot.
Have only used the stacked unit once in three years and that was more to test them out. 240 volt dryer drys very well but limits me to 50 amp sites or run the generator. I know I'll use it more when I get to travel more/longer trips.

After speaking with numerous Combo Owners I know for a fact that we'd go with Separate Units. Just have to wait and see what New(er) Fiver we end up with.

We are full time and have separate washer/dryer.

We wouldn't be without it. It is SO convenient to do laundry at your own pace.
It does a very nice job too !!

Full Timers and Washers/Dryers???

43 DP. Much storage!
About 3 weeks, in town, 6-bushel washer and dryer, 90 minutes, 11 bucks, happy wife.
YMMV

I would not FT without a W/D on board. It is a convenience for sure. I've seen some of the W/Ds in CGs and would not want my clothes in them. A laundromat is also an option but certainly not convenient. I do 3 loads a week when I am relaxing watching tv or putzing around the RV. Works great for me.

It would be a deal breaker for us, Washer/Drier is a must just the same as in our home. No reason to not have one if you are full time.

We do not have w/d and I don't really enjoy the laundromat days. However, my SIL full-timed for years with a W/D and from what she says you can't wash much so you are always doing a little load, every day, that's not fun either. We both also like to boon dock so there's that complication.

I never thought of who washed before me!!?!? How bad could that be?

I don't like not knowing the dryers, what's hot enough to dry and what's so hot it will scorch.

We did have to buy extra sheets and towels because I do have my standards.

We have a 44 foot Toy Hauler with the hook ups. Opted not to put in a Washer and Dryer. We have two big bikes and a couple mandatory totes we keep in the garage, but also use the garage for living space when parked.

We chose not to go with the Washer and Dryer, didn't want to give up the space. We are work camping in SW Michigan and have access to laundry facilities and that works fine and we are pretty conservative with clothing...laundry consists mostly of sock and underwear, hang the towels after a shower, unless sweaty or dirty, same jeans for a few days.

We get a full load about once a week. Has worked for us so far, but as with everything, nothing is free. The extra space costs us some convenience, or the convenience could cost you some space...….regardless enjoy.
