Full Timers - what gives you away
As I went through my normal routine this morning, woke up, put on my clothes, made first cup of coffee, stepped outside, it dawned on me. One would begin to figure out that we full time simply by noticing my wardrobe, specifically the sweatshirts I wear.
Unless we are in the hottest of places, I like to put my light weight sweatshirts on in the morning. Well, being a full timer and not carrying a lot of excess anything, I have 3 sweatshirts. So, I typically will put on my sweatshirts each morning, over my regular shirt, and wear them for two or three days before going to the next in rotation.
Anyone that would pay attention would realize this trend and probably figure out that I'm a full timer so it got me wondering, does anyone else have that "give away" that you are a full timer. Thought this might turn into a fun thread.

I don’t know if that really gives you away. We have dedicated camping clothes that stay in the fifth wheel. They come in for wash after a trip and go right back out there.

60 degree morning in Florida I'm in shorts and t shirt, people point and say you're full-time (lack of large wardrobe) and your from up north(i guess lack of common sense, stay inside) oh well guess there right.

I guess its true about dedicated camping clothes. Hadn't thought of that.
And shorts in cold weather, I have seen you guys, lol, and thought the same thing.

When I saw the title of this post I was going to say it was the limited wardrobe. I guess was thinking the same as the OP. Another thing might be the blue boy or ladder attached to the roof ladder on your rig.

Well you have hit my two:
Clothes , very limited and repeated quite often.
I only have shorts, and sandals. Having lived for the last 14 years on a Caribbean Island , and now in the MH for over a year, I have not worn shoes in the last 15 + years

Whenever DW and I see someone pull in and start pulling a ton of stuff out, we typically say they are ‘camping’, we pull stuff out as we need it and often have a quarter the stuff out that they do. Then they pack it all back up two or three days later and leave.
The other thing we think about with full timing is that we do not move around as much, 3 weeks to a month in a place.
You have *three* sweatshirts you go through! I might have three, but only ever use two.

We're never sure what day of the week it is.
It doesn't matter.

Guess it would have been our SD License Plates
We were never in one place long enough for anyone to notice our limited wardrobe

These are some great replies that I haven't thought of. Pulling all of the stuff out then packing it back in for sure is a sign of a weekend warrior.
Don't give me heck about my three sweatshirts , that is the foundation of my wardrobe. The next biggest decision I have is flip flops or my LL Bean slippers. Yes ladies, I'm taken, LOL.
