Fulltiming FINALLY

Day One has finally come for our Full Time adventure. The last month of packing and selling household stuff and finally closing on the house took some long days. But as of last Wednesday we were on the road. This next two weeks will be sitting at the Charlotte Speedway (working it a few days), then down to Florida if change everything over. But now, we can sit back and just take our time.

Check out 'The Great Outdoors' TGO in Titusville! You'll end up owning a nice lot. Super place.

Florida changed a new law for full-time RVers. In stead of the PMB on the drivers license they now put the license plate number of the RV on your driver's license. They Stoll use the street address of the mail service. Getting the drivers license and vehicle plates were an easy process.

One issue I had was when I checked on the insurance for the RV. I talked to Progressive, GEICO and others and they all were stuck on the question Where do you mainly park your RV. Numerous times I had to explain the full time situation and using the FL address as the mail service and vehicle registration address. They still wanted to know where do I park the RV for the majority of the year even though we travel 365 days.

That's a sweet setup you have there! One question: Do you find that setup to be too long, or is the length insignificant for you? I am trying to convince my wife to let me buy a Chevy Colorado/GMC Canyon as a TOAD (behind a 42'9" pusher similar in size to yours), and she is moaning about it being too long of a freight train.

What are your thoughts?
