Keeping everything crossed that I can....my closing got moved up to the 17th from the 31st of July. I have till 7/21 to vacate. First yard sale this weekend - made $1350 not including furniture. Next (and hopefully last) yard sale in two more weeks (still a ton of stuff to bag & tag). Now to find the perfect wheel estate. Looks like we'll be full-timing about the same time. WHOO-HOO!!!!

Why is it, the more plans are made, the more that goes wrong. Been there, done that with the house sale and it finally worked out so don't give up yet dlhaynes. Besides your fun has just started. Got the insurance straight, drivers license correct, mail taken care of and oh yes the banking also has to be in line, how about internet service and mobile phone service? It's almost enough to make you to want to buy a house.
Seriously one item to check: Does your insurance require a Class B CDL since you will be over 26K lb? My insurance was ok but the state of PA highly recommends the Class B license and NJ & MD may start enforcing their laws on weight.
I do my best to stay out of NJ & LA because of selective enforcement of laws. Was A cop in PA and saw how the system works.
Don't want to discourage you but want to keep you safe and out of trouble if possible.
IT WILL ALL WORK OUT SOMEDAY!!

Hey gentle folks,

The house IS SOLD!!!! We closed yesterday and the money is in the bank. It's been a stress filled week or so. Trying to move into the moho and it being about 15 miles away. We made umpteen trips. This past week has seen us have two pets put to sleep, clean the house to some degree, drop off several pickup truck loads of stuff at the moho and at my mother's, and a trailer load of unsold yardsale items taken to mom's, purchased new tow vehicle that I have to get a new baseplate for, and...I'll stop there...that's enough of my whining. I'm ready for some real down time.

But alas, we are full timers now. It's been a long road to get to this point.

Rebelsbeach, I wasn't able to even stop by when you folks where in Sevierville at the rally. Things have been hectic for us.

All you folks out there take care and maybe I can make one of iRV2's gatherings one of these first days.

Later...

So sorry to hear about your pets. That's never easy even when you know they are suffering. But really happy to hear that the house sale went through! WHOO-HOO!!!

I'm lost. I've gone to look for me. If I should return before I get back, please ask me to wait.

Wow, congratulations. Enjoy being full timers.
We have been waiting several years for ours to sell, we are getting anxious. It is commercial, so not an easy sell.
Glad you are finaly on your way.
