I-4 has always been a headache, especially during the snowbird months. It could be much better if people would stay to the right except to pass! That seems to be a problem throughout the country but is most evident on roads with heavy traffic.

pokerloser...If you have a Living Trust check with your lawyer about where the executor lives.

It seems to me I heard that the executor has to live in Florida.

The rule is a nonresident executor must be related to you by blood, marriage or adoption. If you're using a bank or a trust company as your executor, they have to be a Florida state approved fiduciary.

Thanks this is new information I will need to figure out. Definitely not a showstopper by any means but something to add my list.

File a form with the voter registration office to cancel your registration due to no longer being a resident there or they will mail a ballot to your old home, that someone else can fill out and vote for you. Also, active registration identifies you as a CA resident.

Doesn't matter. They will send him a voter registration card even after he moves out of state. [mod edit]

Every ballot in California is checked for a correct signature by computer. If it looks suspect it gets kicked out and checked by a person. They compare it to your signature on file, usually from your DL

This is an older thread that has been reopened and gone political. Time to move on.
