After several years planning, we are heading out full time in about three weeks. We will domicile in SD and are looking for a Will and Trust attorney in the Rapid City area so we can make an appointment and take care of things while there establishing our domicile. We want to take our New Hampshire wills and trusts and have them redone for our new domicile. If you have had your wills and/or trusts converted to SD, we would appreciate a referral.

We use myhomeaddresssinc.com in Emery, SD for mail and vehicle registration. We've found them to be very good. Been with them 8 years.

We also found a good attorney to take care of all the extra stuff--wills, etc. He is in the next town near Emery. His rate is very reasonable also.

We just did a trust/will through aspen legacy planning in rapid city. I recommend.

Pioneer Bank in Rapid City if you need a bank for your trust.

Drew did the trust, wills POA etc.

I'll share as we left California, our Trust Attorney confirmed that SD had reciprocal agreements with CA - so recommended that we wait until we had another reason to make a change to our Trust. When that came, that we then change the Trust form CA to SD, and incorporate the changes... (This was back in about 2012 timeframe, so for those reading this making a decision - fact check to see if things have changed. And yes, not pertinent to the OP - as taking care of the Trust change now.)

I'll share that we have had changes this year, so we'll reach out to a Rapid City related Attorney to make our shift of Trusts, and updates, later this year.
