Package delivery at LTVA? Imperial dam Yuma area.

We are heading to a LTVA first will be LaPosa (Quartzite Area) then we will probably do the remaining at Imperial dam (Yuma area) Im working on installing solar the full shabang Victron multi plus II, Battle Born batteries etc . I contacted Battle Born for locations around the LTVAs they said they don't have anyone that stocks their products. They can only ship to me. So does anyone know of places I can have heavy items like this shipped to I'm buying 2 Battle Born game changer batteries I think they are around 80lbs each and about the. Size of 3 standard car batteries. I think I found a place in Quartzite but can't find a business in the Yuma area that I can have stuff shipped to.

The P.O. in Quartzsite is a zoo - very crowded during the 'season'. Many use Blythe, CA P.O.

There a UPS Store & FedEx in Yuma and probably others.

When you are at Imperial Dam you can have stuff sent to the Christian Center. Just stop by and tell them your name, and they will accept delivery of packages and mail for you. You can also mail stuff there.

I don't think it's legal to use the post office for large batteries or any lithium batteries they have this posted at all post offices. It's considered dangerous or hazardous items. But thanks for the suggestion.

Can't send batteries through USPS they frown on it. They have signs all over in Post Offices. I wish it was a option but I don't think Battle Born will take a chance breaking this law/rule.

I'll have to look for the UPS store, USPS is out because that have strict rules about dangerous goods including any batteries.

USPS is probably out for delivery of these large 270AH batteries they are Lithium based , not really dangerous but we all know the politics behind USPS.

USPS
349.222 Lithium-ion (Rechargeable) Cells and Batteries — Domestic
Small consumer-type lithium-ion cells and batteries (also called secondary lithium cells or batteries) like those used to power cell phones and laptop computers are only mailable domestically under the following conditions. See 622 or IMM 135.6 when mailing batteries internationally or to and from APO/FPO/DPO destinations.

General. The following additional restrictions apply to the mailability of all secondary lithium-ion or lithium polymer cells and batteries:
The watt-hour rating must not exceed 20 Wh per cell.
The watt-hour rating must not exceed 100 Wh per battery.

"Almost 3x the Limit "

Each battery must bear the “Watt-hour” or “Wh” marking on the battery to determine if it is within the limits defined in items 1 and 2.
Each cell or battery must meet the requirements of each test in the UN Manual of Tests and Criteria, part III, and subsection 38.3 as referenced in DOT’s hazardous materials regulation at 49 CFR 171.7.
