I just cut the cable and added a male & female plug inside the electrical bay. The portable Hughes unit gets plugged in there between the two. Out of site, out of the weather, and can be monitored on my cell phone or tabled via the watch dog app.

Hello, we are new at RV life and I love it. We just started in March of this year. My husband installed a surge protector inside our RV. We have not had any issues with theft but we also lock everything up that we feel is valuable including a lock on our bikes.
