RV Communities with Lots for Sale, how do you find them?
I am not looking to full time but am considering getting a full-time spot or two. I have been all over google and I get very few that seem any better than trailer parks. Can anyone point me to a directory or websites that hosts these places?

For summer, this is in a gorgeous area in northern Michigan:
Purchase an RV Lot - Traverse Bay RV Resort
For winter, many go here in Texas:

I don't think there's one particular site for finding these places. Personally, we think that's a lot of money to go to one place all the time. We'd rather travel. Good luck finding your spot!

Do all RV lot developments have an HOA/POA, maintenance fees or such? Would one be better off purchasing a small piece of land and develop that land for your own personal RV lot? Perhaps purchase a small lot and then develop 4 - 6 RV lots that you could then "rent" out during the year. My guess is that the problem could potentially be zoning and local laws. Thanks for the links in the responses, researching them to see each's differences and level of amenities. Interesting option as one slows down the RV life but not yet willing to let it go.

Spring Ridge Estates, very unique 55+ community with wonderful people. We bought there in 2016 and absolutely love it.

Someone else has already posted about Retama Village in Mission Texas.
Here's one in Brackettville Texas with an interesting history.

We're going to visit Ft Clark Springs this weekend to check it out.

What is the name of this place on Lake Fork?
Do they have a website?
I went elementary, Jr High, and High School in Emory, and used to duck hunt along the river bottom when I was a kid before Lake Fork Dam was completed.
