South Dakota concealed carry permit

I am interested in obtaining a concealed carry permit in South Dakota. My question is on part of the residency requirement. The requirement reads as follows:

* Has physically resided in and is a resident of the county where the application is being made for at least thirty days immediately preceding the date of the application.

We have established our domicile in Pennington county, SD so the second half half of the requirement has been met but what proof is required to satisfy the first half of the requirement of residing in the county for the last 30 days?

Just a guess but a drivers license would probably do it. Otherwise utility bills, tax bills, ext. Are you sure the state you reside in does not have reciprocity with SD?

Friend just went through what you want to do. He had to show RV park receipts showing 30 days of continuous residency.

I asked about purchasing a handgun in SD and I was told (by Cabella's) that they could not sell to anyone with a "Mail Forwarding" address.

i find the usa concealed carry website the easiest to use and most up to date.
per usa carry, if you have a colorado carry permit, you have reciprocity in south dakota.

I found the same thing at the Cabela's in Rapid City, but when I got away from Rapid City I was able to purchase from Cabela's with no problem. The local store there recognizes the Americas Mailbox address. Once away from that area it was no problem, I bought a shotgun near Minneapolis with no questions about my address.
