Been using one for maybe 12-14 years, and it's been great. Every so often I call them and have them send my mail to whereever we are at the time. And I do remember to "thank" them well at holiday time (which I'm sure helps).
Never been a hassle with any company or organization about getting mail sent to me thru there, either.

If you are doing so to establish residency for any possible tax benefit, I suggest you make sure you know all applicable laws. Out of curiosity, I was checking Florida residency law the other day, and there can be jail time for violating the law. And, yeah, I know that that the odds of someone checking that you were in the state for 6 months are probably very small....you want to make sure you know what the risks are. And, you need to know the laws for the state you want to claim as a domicile.
I'm not a lawyer....just sharing a couple of thoughts!

I was just curious why the "No, no, no." comment from Marjoa and his reason?
Been using UPS Store for over 7 years now, and haven't had a problem either.

Many full-timers use UPS mail service. Set it up ASAP - at least 3m. before making the permanent move. Notify U.S. Postal Service of the address change. Keep track of the mail you receive for a while to make sure everything important is being forwarded. You might want to notify the companies individually as to your new address.
Medical insurance is very important so if you're happy with the one you have now then stay with it. However, if you have Medicare and a Medicare Supplement that can be used all over the country. If it's a Medicare Advantage plan then not easy to do. Not all can be used freely anywhere.

What are the benefits of doing this, vs a mail forwarding option such as escapees or such? Is it cheaper? Does ups offer mail sorting services? What are the benefits? This is the first I’ve heard this is even possible, thanks

Not sure of a benefit to using the UPS Store, but that was the only place we could us for mail service in the location we lived in. We are full time with no S/B. We also did not want to change our domicile address.
When we call for our mail, we go thru the mail with the person there and we have them sent what we want and shred the junk mail.
Not sure if this is the cheapest (probably not) way to do mail forwarding, but it works for us with insurance and domicile location.

The post office has a service now that sends you an email everyday, showing the outside of each piece of mail you will be receiving that day. They scan each piece and then send that to you every day.
You can sign up for it at USPS.com.....
It is called Informed Delivery.........
I just call the UPS store, whenever I see something I might need to see, and tell them to round file everything else.
Been using it for a while, very handy.

But you can not use a USPS for your domicile address.

Right. I have a UPS store address, all my mail goes there. But I get to see what the mail is, (by using Informed Delivery), before it goes to the UPS mailbox so I already know what to ask them to send me, and what to dump.
Just need to review it every day, and then call my UPS store to let them know I need them to send that IRS notice to where ever I'm going next. Or once a week, or whenever I need to ask for something to be forwarded.
