Sold the S&B and EVERYTHING in it via Estate Auction prior to hitting the road.

We always had an Exit Plan .....just in case.

Well after 7 wonderful, adventurous, memory packed years Life threw us a curve.
Wasn't ready, wasn't what we wanted, not what we planned BUT hey it happens.

So now we are enjoying a different phase/chapter of life.
Bought a house with FHU on one end and garage/shop on other end of property with great neighbors.

Life is full of ebbs and flows. Go with them or get swamped.

When we first started contemplating it...I couldn't see downsizing at all. And while we haven't downsized the furniture, we did most everything else. Our local thrift store was the recipient of most of it.

I still have stuff going there. Turns out our new rig has an induction cook top so need to go thru all the remaining cookware to check to see if it works. I thought we would be using propane. I also thought I would have a regular RV oven. So the pans I was keeping will be given to the thrift store. So much of that will go. The remaining TV in the house is being given to family. We have the next 24 hours to load the rig of all but us and the cats, go park it at a local campground, and then the fun begins.

SpaceNorman, I think that statement is (or has been) reality for many of us!

Thanks!
