Exactly, It seems like a lot of people who park or camp somewhere with no hook ups, call it boondocking.

If I'm at a park with no hook ups I call it "Dry camping" If I'm out in a national forest, I'm Boondocking!

The best way to handle it is start your generator first. Once any neighbors understand that the solar installation will limit the use of your generator, they may even offer to help.

Got it hooked up. 4 panels, 4 100 ah batteries , 30 amp controller and 3000 Watt inverter. The quiet power is awesome. Thanks for all the replies.

I got to lol, today I am helping a friend at his house. I pick up a broom to sweep leaves off the sidewalk. He says, use the leaf blower. I think, I hate the sound of other people using a leaf blower. I say, naw, I will use the broom.

So, how much noise will you be making?
