Wonderful information RJ and thanks for sharing. Wish more would post these boon docking locations in hard to find areas such as Florida, or other great value places with interesting things to see/do.

Also for Florida check out the 5 WMA's & WMD's (Water Management Districts and Wildlife Management Areas ), ie; Dupuis and many others where one can boondock in Fla.

FWIW, in case anyone interested: Besides the dry camping at various locations such as Casinos, Cabelas, Other Big Box Stores, and Restaurants we've frequented: Battery Park in Apalachicola; Ichetucknee Springs = $10/Night great tubing rafting, crystal blue waters; Everglades try Picayune Strand State Forest $10/Night and about 40 minutes from Naples.

As another heads up don't forget if you looking for somewhere south of the frost line for a week or several, check out or place an ad on Craigs List. There's quite a few folks happy to get a few dollars/companionship for you staying on their over sized lots/acreages.

Wow, great info. Where exactly is this though? When I search for 3 Lakes I find it down south and west of Miami, but St Cloud is up by Orlando. Must be a different 3 Lakes.
