Boondocking in Salt Lake City
I see there are no W/M overnight parking for big rigs.
No casinos.
Anyone know where to park overnight as we will be
just passing through.
The north side of SLC is too high right now
to boondock, so what is on the south side?

The road in is Paved. Wal-mart - West Valley City is open year round . There are 30 or more campsites at this location. You may stay Limited at Wal-mart - West Valley City.

I have stayed at either one of the HUGE truck stops in Tooele, just 20 miles west of SLC on I-80. They not only have RV parking, but spots along the outer rim of the station lot. Short walk for coffee or Dennys in the morning.

There is a flying J just west of SLC on I-80. Just past the big smoke stack and around the bend from the copper plant a few miles.
