The specs say this unit uses 1,260 watts running. Doing some rounding for inverter inefficiencies just figure from batteries you need 130 A/H, yes a large fudge factor. Even with the soft start you have a 30 amp in rush, 300 A/H from the batteries. In theory a 600 A/H will net you 4 hours actual run time.

Is there a way to have heat and AC overnight without running the generator? Cheap or expensive doesn’t matter to me if it’s possible.

Jackery solar generators are pretty amazing and silent. We boondocked for a week with a 3000 pro which is 30 amp and we were able to just plug into it like at a rv site. They have a 5000 pro and also add on banks if you need more storage.

The 3000 pro comes with 2 panels and we were able to manage charging it up each day, but it was slow. We are going to purchase at least one more solar panel so that we can charge faster. We bought ours on sale for 2K.

If my limited thought rounded math is correct, you should be able to run a rooftop AC for about 1 to 1.5 hours.
