Eastern Sierra Boondocking

Hello - I've been searching for spots to boondock between Mammoth Lakes, CA and Bridgeport, CA in the Eastern Sierras. I have heard of a spot east of 395 just north of the Mammoth Lakes turnoff. I think it is on BLM land. However, I haven't heard of anything west of 395. Thank you in advance for any information.

I love this website for this kind of thing, it's not absolutely comprehensive, but it's pretty good.
