I have been a fan of DiscoveryOwners website for years. But it was within the past 2 years that I have been able to use their waypoints in my Garmin GPS. The steps I use for this process follows.
The waypoints are available for downloading at:
MAP OVERLAYS
1. Click on the above link or copy and paste it into your web browser.
2. Choose "Sorted Alphabetically"
3. A drop down window labled “Please select your progam” should appear; choose: DeLorme
4. From the list, choose a waypoint file you would like to download
5. Click on the file under the “FILE DOWNLOAD” column to download it.
6. A zip file is downloaded which becomes an .an1 file when opened
7. The file format .an1 needs to be converted to .gpx format.
8. I use “TraceGPS:
Conversion from a GPS format to another GPS format
9. Change the “input file format” to: DeLorme .an1 (drawing) file [W][T][R]
10. Change the “output file format” to: GPX XML [W][T][R]
11. Click on the “Browse” button and locate and load the file chosen in step 4 above.
12. Click the “Convert the file” button
13. The converted file is ready to download and the link shows up in GREEN print
14. Click on the “Green” link and Save the file to your computer.

16. Open the file in Base Camp by selecting “New List Folder” from the File menu.
17. With the new folder selected, select “Import into New Folder”…
