If you are heading North today, stay away from Talladega.

Talladaga is not between Osage Beach and Jefferson City MO.
It's not even in MO, (Taladaga is near Birmingham, Alabama).

Have you seen the video tip of the day, "Where to camp free in a RV in the USA", here?
RV Daily Tips Issue 376. May 5, 2014 | RV Travel
The video is near the end if today's issue.
Although not "MO specific", it's interesting and informative

West of Osage Beach about 70 miles is "Montrose Conservation Area". It has a couple of primitive camping spaces available. (SW of Clinton, Mo.)
