MidNite Solar Releases Its Cadillac Controller - the Classic

The Classic does solar, wind, and hydro (for those of you who travel with a river).

Handles up to 96A and 250VDC input and it talks you through setup. Plus DC ground fault and arc fault detection.

However, it will set you back $850-950.

MidNite Solar - Renewable Energy System Electrical Components and E-Panels.

The only one we're missing is nuclear power. Sounds like quite a controller though!

Spoke too soon. Price is more in line with similar controllers:
Midnite Charge Controllers

MidNite also demos their controller setup:

Looks like a nice machine
Too bad it does handle the engine alternator as a selectable charging source. A DC to DC conversion from the alternator output converted to a proper three stage charge for the coach battery bank. Leaving alone the starting battery connection.

For that lind of money you would expect a proactive alarm system with multiple interfaces as a standard part of the unit.
