Try fs.fed.us and see if that works. If youre over 62 it's $10 now for lifetime. Within the next year or so it's supposed to go to $80 for 2 years. DW and I each have one in case one gets lost later.

You can get them through the mail, $20. or just wait until you go to a national park, and get the card there, $10. It only takes a few minutes to do this.

Old Biscuit has the right one. I'd do the $20 online one now rather than wait and miss the deal.

Best deal in town. Even if they raise it to $80 You can't beat it.

In days of old you could get 'em at any Federal park, Wife got heres in 2006 at Grand Canyon (was cheaper than a day pass for the car)>

When she died however (2013) I was unable to get a pass for myself (she was a bit older than I) at the park and had to go to the district office.. Was still 10 bucks then.

There was a bill in congress last year to up it to 80 bucks, Do not know the fate of the bill... (Do not care since, as they say, I GOT MINE!!!!!)

Natl.Forest Service Pass

Word from the various rangers I know is mixed. Seems they really don't know what or when a change is occurring to the Senior Pass. Most likely scenario is change of $30 cost for 2 year pass and $80 for lifetime. There's no real clear cut time frame when it will be implemented but the know it will.
The AARP article says there will be. $20 1 year pass that can then be applied to the $80 lifetime pass if so desired.

Public Law 114-289 (Sec. 102) Interior (for a federal land management agency) and the Department of Agriculture (USDA) (for the Forest Service) shall make the National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Pass available to any U.S. citizen or person residing in the United States who is 62 years of age or older for:

a period of 12 months from the date of issuance at a cost of $20; and
the lifetime of the passholder at a cost (currently $10) equal to the cost of the National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Pass.

The bill requires Interior and USDA to make the National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Pass available for no additional cost, if the individual provides evidence that he or she has purchased a 12-month pass for each of the four previous years.

The National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Pass is currently $80. Hence, if when the law is implemented that cost has not increased, the Senior Pass will be $20 for annual and $80 for lifetime. If one can document the annual pass purchase for four consecutive years a lifetime pass will be issued at no cost.
