Overnight At Cabela's in Mitchell, Sd.

Has anyone stayed at the Cablea's in Mitchell, SD. recently? I am getting mixed signals as to whether you can overnight there? Any recent stay reports would be appreciated. Thanks!!

I stopped there after the 4th last year on the way home to dump and shop. Didn’t overnight but they were set up for it and saw a couple of rigs that looked like they had. Really nice store. Didn’t have any issues getting my 45 ft rig in and out

We were just there. Great stop with long pull throughs. Rapid City is good also.

We were there a few months ago. Nice place. I much prefer Cabela’s to Walmart.

It's a big lot. Overnights are welcome. If you are a Club member, free dump station.

Most slots are pretty uneven so we had to extend our jacks. No problem.

We have stayed there a few times ( and seem to spend $$$$) each time. We pulled on early one evening and cranked up the TV and generator. Off to bed and there were two more RVs in the huge lot. Next morning I think there were 21. I have yet to find the dump pipe, but that is not a problem.
The Cabela's in Rapid (actually on the east side of Rapid) invites travelers to overnight with them. It is newer than the Mitchell store but does not seem as big. Dump station there is marked plainly.

We have stayed there often. Either as first stop going East or last stop coming home. Sites are a little uneven but doable. Great Mexican restaurant across parking lot.

The cabellas in Rapid is good, except they restrict overnight stays during the motorcycle rally.

Stopped at Cabela's in Mitchell again last night, on the way home from points west.

(If this is improper, mods, feel free to delete.)

Tried the new(ish) Mexican restaurant - El Columpio - at the edge of the RV parking area.

I grew up in south LA when south LA was Mexican, and ate nothing but Mexican food.

If you like good Mexican food, I'd recommend El Columpio.
