overnightrvparking.com

I would be interested in users' experiences with Overnight RV Parking.com. $25/year is not cheap, but could be worth it. It professes to focus on free overnight spots, as opposed to free or inexpensive camp sites. Thanks for your input.

I've used the Overnight RV Parking app for several years. It's saved me more than the 25.00 yearly fee. Some areas, there are very few free places, mostly in popular vacation areas. But in most places, it has some free parking places.

Interested also, as to how it compares to Freecampsites.net if you'd be kind enough to share

OvernightRVParking.com is very useful and well worth the money. Most of the time, the parking spots it shows are along your route and much more convenient than a campground for a one night stop. It will save you its cost the first night that you use it instead of paying for a camp site.

We've been using overnightrvparking.com for about 7 years and we've only had to pay for 2 years. That's because every time you stay at one of the places you can go to the site and click a couple things to confirm that location still allows overnight parking or if it no longer allows parking. Then in a few days you get an email from the site telling you that you get 1 or 2 weeks added to your subscription. Every confirmation gets you 1 or 2 weeks. Two weeks are for a change in status or for confirmations on sites that have not been confirmed for a long time. We use it every night for a couple weeks at a time when we are going cross country. Usually Walmarts because of the shopping available. We use other sites too that are free but this one is much more useful for us because it has great descriptions and the date it was last confirmed.
