Need a good place to boondock in Mobile Alabama close to the airport.

I always call ahead and ask if they have any restrictions on my parking their over-nite? I grew up in Mobile and was there last week. There is church and a high school about 2 miles west of the airport. There is a Walmart and a Lowes about 3 miles east of the airport.

Is Lowes really a good place to hang out for the night? Some Walmarts are getting fussy now. Hadnt thought about churches. Do you have experience with parking in a church parking lot?

If you're a member of social, veterans or fraternal organization, i.e. Moose, Lions, American Legion, VFW, Elks, Many will allow you to stay the nite in their parking lot. Some have RV hook-up too. If you choose to park at a church, ask permission and remember to leave a donation.

If you choose to stay at a church, I recommend not on a Sat night unless you plan on attending services the following morning.
