Quartzite/La Posa Internet Speeds?

I'm looking to try the La Posa BLM Long-Term area for the first time. I'm concerned about the cell phone towers being overloaded. What kind of Verizon download speeds do you get there?

I didn’t run a speed check, but here is a qualitative description at La Posa Tyson Wells. During the gem show and the RV show, service was terrible. I could browse the web only very early in the morning. I could download email, but it was very slow. Before and after those two weeks, it wasn’t as bad, though streaming was prone to breakups. Note that 30 miles south or so at the KOFA Wildlife Refuge, I could stream and browse to my hearts content.

Thanks for the qualitative description. At best it sounds like 4-5 Mb/s down or less.

Wow, upload speeds are fast.

Verizon does use AT&T towers when they don't have one of their own in a given area.

We got here Wednesday. I could browse the webusing my Verizon Mifi as long as I stayed off photo heavy sites. I moved to hot spotting off an AT,&T phone yesterday. Today here are the results (first day of show, lots more folks here). Neither Verizon not AT&T would work for business use. Even the AT&T is pretty bad, but Verizon is basically unusable.

We are in La Posa Tyson Wash, 2 miles or so south of town.
