WEN inverter Generator

Just a little heads up. WOOT.COM has the WEN 2000W inverter generator on sale for $399 and $5 shipping. It can be paralleled but does not have a 30A outlet.

The parallel kit (Amazon $60) does have a 30A outlet. The generators do not.

Its pretty much a 15 amp generator ( 15 amps @ 120 volts = 1850 watts ). You could just get the 15 to 30 amp adapter . Would work great for charging batteries . Doubt it would run an air conditioner.

The WEN Inverter Generator seems to be a decent little Generator, I purchased one for my 5th Wheel, powers everything but the AC. I may purchase another one & the parallel kit if necessary. So far no complaints with the WEN; quiet, easy to start, & the price was right.

Gotta love the plethora of options these days.

Remember when it was JUST Honda? Wonder if they'll drop prices....

Probably not, you can't make a quality product cheap. Yamaha makes quilaty stuff too.

Used Honda inverter generators are selling for more then some of the bargain stuff. People who use them know why.

Yet even Yamaha's are half the price. My 3k champion was a literally a 1/4 of what a 3k Honda costs.

I don't disagree they are a good product, but god they have to be overpriced if everyone else can come close and do it for 1/2-1/4 of the price.

My research shows this is most likely a Loncin model and has been sold in the UK for some time now.

Only $650 and a two year warranty is a little over $100. I've had mine for a month or two. Only 50 hours so far but with the warranty I'm pretty confident. My daughter didn't know better and ran the microwave while the AC (13.5k) was running and the generator didn't overload.
