What Black Water Tank Treatment do you use

I could not find a post on this subject.

I am wishing to know what you use to treat your black water. I am searching to change.

I been RVing for about 30 years, and I have tried all kinds of different additives in the black water tank and frankly I have seen no difference in putting any kind of additive in the black water tank and putting nothing but water in the Blackwater tank. I've never had a problem dumping the tank, never had a stoppage it seems to me it just needs a lot of water.

Used for years. At end of season we run the extreme happy camper before closing rig up.

Enjoy the journey

We’ve been traveling around the SF Bay Area for a few years where Rv renters from Europe spend their last night before returning the Rv. They leave extra black tanks treatment all over the parks for others to use instead of throwing it away so I think I’ve tried most of the different brands.
We haven’t noticed any difference than using no treatment.

We use cheap single ply septic safe toilet paper, lots of water and Odorless packets in the tank. Full time for 7 years and RVing since 1984 and not one black tank issue. Dump when you have at least 1/2 tank and flush the tank every other dump.

I use an aqueous solvent delivered by pipes directly to my home. What doesn't go into the black tank is considered safe to drink as well.

We are also in the Happy Camper powder camp. We also use lots of water and have had no issues over the last 6 years.
