The higher the elevation, the cooler it is. I'm currently in AZ at 7500 feet. 49 was the low last night 65 a high. 108 in Phoenix.

I agree....7,000' EL is when it starts getting mighty nice. You can find this in every western state.

North Shore Lake Superior Minnesota's Arrowhead from Duluth to Canadian border. Plenty of free camping too.

Agree with going up in altitude. It was 105?in Fy Collins at son's place several years ago. We went up to Long Draw Reservoir at 10,300' and it was 38 at night and 76 during day.
This summer we spent 3.5 weeks in Labrador and now are doing six weeks in Newfoundland. Temperatures have been great
