NEW Workhorse Club Website

07-05-2012 -- The Workhorse Chassis Motorhome Club is pleased to announce that a new Club website will be going live within the next few days.

Within the next few weeks, it is expected that the previous club website that shared space on workhorse.com servers will soon be placed out of commission. The tentative disconnect date was stated as June 1, 2012.

The new site is completely owned and operated as a private resource by the WCMC.

The URL for the new site is: www.workhorseclub.com.

Once the site goes live, all registered WCMC members will be sent an eMail requesting that they login to the website and check their own personal information.

Previously unavailable, members will be able to change their address, eMail address & phone numbers (2).

The new club site is provide by Club Web Source software.

Once the site goes live you can reach the webmaster at webmaster@workhorseclub.com.

There will me many membership perks including access to important links, TSBs and Recall documents. A copy of the 2010 Chassis Guide is immediately available on the site as well.

The site will also be the resource when you can read the latest Newsletters or archives and there will be a photo gallery where event photographs will be made available.

Please also avail yourself of the WCMC facebook page as well. You will find the latest information and reams of other content related to club activities.

The registration process depends on 2 things;
  1. Are you an FMCA member?
  2. Are you a WCMC member?
If that is indeed the case, once the site goes live, you will be sent an invitation via the eMail address or snail mail that's on file to come and login to the site.

It is expected that the member perks will be quite substantial. For example, the 2010 Chassis Guide is already available for viewing or download for members. TSBs, Recalls, Service & Support including chassis upgrades will be available. There are many features that will be developed including resources for tires, towing and auxiliary braking. It is planned than electrical diagrams and other documents will also be available to members.

The site will also publish a Newsletter and over 31 archive newsletters will also be available to view by members.

The site is primarily setup to support the Club and its Members activities. The biggest benefit of being a member or past member is so that you can attend one of 2 Club Rallies (or both) which are typically located in the East and the West. The workhorseclub site will support the rallies by hosting information, application forms, receive payments (once implemented), publish itineraries, meals, booked entertainment, activities and provide other resources to help you arrive to the destination.

A link will as always be provided to the Workhorse Owner's Forum here on iRV2.com as well.

Mike : Thanks for all the hours of work you've put in to get the new club website functional.

Hopefully, the members will realize what a valuable resource this can become and keep their personal info updated, in addition to learning about club activities and accessing the newsletters.

I just finished uploading all the Newsletters since 2004.

Thanks Mike for all your work. We as members will never be able to repay you for this effort. This website will allow us to be sef-supporting and will be immeasurably easier to use than the old one.
