The club is hosting a free social "mixer" for ALL workhorse chassis owners. You do not have to be a member of WCMC to be welcome at this event. Please come share fun and fellowship with club members and enjoy some wine & cheese, compliments of Workhorse Custom Chassis!

It is scheduled for 5:00PM on Tuesday March 20th in Seminar Building 4. It may be shown as an "owner's meeting" in the convention program. Also look for it in the daily newsletter, in case there are any changes.

I'm sure DriVer enjoyed being with you guys, and hopefully he didn't eat ALL the cheese

The mixer was a success! Although I don't believe we made an official count a lot of people came to the event and we had a great time.

Workhorse had a caterer come in and they set up a tiered serving tray with fruit and cheese. there was wine, water, beer and soda available and the caterer was very friendly and accommodating.

I went around the room introducing myself and shook as many hands as I could and welcomed the people to the Chapter mixer.

Mr. Jay Blumenthal the VP of the FMCA International Area came to our event and spoke to the attendees and bid them a warm welcome. Further he explained how he represents the chapter to the FMCA Board. Jay's closing comments were followed by a nice round of applause.

Linda DeHaven was present and invited all present on behalf of Ed Gray to attend the East Coast Rally that will be held at the Bethpage Camp Resort in Urbana, VA.

During her comments she introduced a half dozen Workhorse employees who attended the mixer and these guys sat and spoke with owners about any number of issues. Mike T, wife Maureen and Colleen (Mrs DriVer) were also introduced.

Invitations to join the chapter were extended to the attendees and many applications were taken. I'm sure that the club can expect to register quite a few new members.

Sounds like a good time was had by all. Wish we could have been there, but we've been busy with the arrival of our new granddaughter.

BOB: Please look for more details to be announced later- but for now it would be a great idea for you and A. to save the first week of October 2007 ED
