Hi All
I have a query regarding access to mil. bases when towing our 5'er. Is there an info # to call or AM Freq. to monitor? I'd hate to find myself in the gate with no options and several Active Duty all hung up behind me. (Not the way to greet new friends!)
How do you all manage this detail?
Thanks!
George

militarycampgrounds.us has directions to each base with a famcamp, for RVers and large vehicles.

Hi guys,
After being in that exact situation at NAB Little Creek, VA and McDill at Tampa I've learned that you'll be directed to the commercial truck inspection areas for a once over by security. I now look for the "Truck Routes" onto all installations if I haven't called ahead. It usually saves me from some incredibly tight turns and those God awful stares from my much younger and impatient brothers and sisters. (I was never like that was I...???? honey.......STOP LAUGHING!!)
