Express Scripts Home Delivery Service - Some prescriptions are now free

For any military retirees who haven't heard, effective October 1st, many prescriptions are now free through HOME DELIVERY via Express Scripts. My generic ones; Metoprolol Succinate & Simvastatin are now free for 90 days and my one name brand (Actos) prescription is $9 for 90 days as long as I get it through the delivery service. My wife has been using the mail order program for over 6 years now and it has been great for us ever since we started full-timing 4 years ago.

Can't say what your particular prescription costs may be but it might be a good idea to check again if you haven't check with them in a while. Express Scripts number 877-363-1303. Be prepared, they are very busy since the changeover just happened but there is a message you can listen to that explains the new changes.

Express Scripts recently changed their on-line website to allow you to input your own temporary mailing address with a start and end date effective date which made our lives as full-timers a little bit easier. By the way, you do not want to just update your regular mailing address to a campground because Express Scripts periodically gets routine updates from Deers that that will overwrite your mailing address UNLESS it has been entered as a temporary address

Thanks Chief. I'm in the process of changing from VA back to Tricare as my primmary care provider because I'm fed up with the BS of trying to get medical attention again. I should be able to get most of my Rx at the base here, but have used Express scripts on items the bas dosen't carry.
