Just a little clarification. SSi is an income based aka welfare program. Any VA, Social Security or other check counts in figuring eligibility. Yes, they have robust investigation, computer and otherwise. You are unlikely to sneak income past them. SSDI/Social Security is a different program though they use the same 100% disability standard.
