Unhappy Vietnam Vet's

Tomorrow, the 29th, is National Vietnam War Veterans Day. And just like then, here we are hunkered down in our bunkers, fearful of what is outside. Go figure.

Not fearful, just cautious and prepared.

Bet there will be VERY little to NO news coverage of this 'national day'

March 29 was chosen as National Vietnam War Veterans Day because on March 29, 1973, Military Assistance Command, Vietnam (MACV) was disbanded and the last U.S. combat troops departed the Republic of Vietnam.

Offical end of the 'conflict' wasn't until the fall of Saigon on 30 April 1975.

1973/1974 & 1975 was in waters off Vietnam participating in shelling on the gun line and demining of Token Gulf region.

And here’s one from a war on terror guy.

I was too young for VN by a couple of years, but I was trained by and served with many VN vets.

My hat is off to all Vietnam Vets. Had the U.S. stayed one year longer my draft number would have pulled me in early and I’d been one of you. Thank you so much for your sacrifices for all of us.
