USS LONGBEACH CGN-9 (Bremerton and SD)
USS REEVES CG-24 (Yokosuka Japan)
USS CALIFORNIA CGN-36 (Bremerton
with a couple of stops in Great Mistakes and Mare Island(CSTSC)
started out chipping paint on the Focsle of the LONGBEACH, struck FTM and after schools worked on the AN/SPG/55B Mod 9-11 fire control radar, after a couple of years on the REEVES home ported in Yoko traveling the orient landed back at CSTSC Mare Island for instructor duty, after going to AN SPS/48E air search radar and back to Bremerton and a yard stint on the CALIFORNIA as LPO.
Went in when president Reagan took office and got out when President Clinton took office, I think the best years of being in the NAVY.

Lol I wish my little brother was still alive. He was on some kind of Sub out of New Port News or Roda Spain. They switched crews after 6 months. I was Army so don't know much. It was a President, I think, Alexander Hamilton.
I was on 2 troopships 65-66. Leroy Eltinge and General Walker. Took me years to even want a boat after that. Alaska to Hawaii, Hawaii to Vietnam. Welcome Aboard
