Thanks For Your Service!

To all fellow Vets, thank you for your contribution to our great nation. Whether is was a short stint or long, your commitment mattered.

I retired AD after 21yrs 1 month USAF. Flipped to GS and will retire...again in 2023 with 19 yrs. This time it's for good. Wife and I will start Snowbirding from North Dakota to warmer temps starting Jan 2024. If anyone has some good advice, please chime in. Happy travels. Cheers!!

Make reservations early and get out of their early. No reason to have a stressful drive. Practice ORM!! Oh.....don't pack it all, you won't need half of it. Be safe and thanks for your service.

February 1980 to November 1989, US Navy.
Use the military bases, Key West Naval Air is great. Sites are close, but the weather more than makes up for it. Mayport Naval is great as well. Kings Bay in Georgia is great. We are at Key West right now.
We will be staying at Corpus Christi for the month of February.
Also use Corps of Engineers (COE) parks, very nice.
