Congrats and thank you for your service. I am retired as well, 4 years Navy and 26 with the Air Force. Been retired since 2013, this whole civilian thing is throwing me off. LOL

I retired from the Air Force in 1994 at 20 years and 29 days. My wife retired from the Air Force at 22 years, 1 month and 20 days. And, yes, she outranked me then and still does.

Length of service doesn't matter, we are all veterans.

4 years active, 2 reserve, Navy.
I got in trouble once, umm, maybe a little more, lol. But this one time when I started talking to defend myself, and I was right, they basically told me to shut up. Extra duty time, down in the engine room, painting pipes. Man that was stifling. It's hot up on the overhead. There were good times though and met a lot of friends. It was good for me overall, but I did not reup. My little brother put in 22 years and made senior chief. He did good. I'm very proud of him.
Thank you all for your service.
