Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta and Pets?

While checking into the info about this I found a note that pets are not allowed. I can understand them not being on the main field, but what about where the rv's are at?

I would guess it depends on where you are planning to park. There are a lot of options from high priced right up next to the field with full hook up to across the street were there are various options available if you are with a group. We attended with the Escapees Boomers and were boondocking across the street. Several people had pets with them. That was in 2013

I doubt you will have any problem with pets in the camping area. I think they mean no pets on the balloon launching field.

Are pets allowed?


Yes, pets are allowed. NM has a leash law, so please make sure your pets are on a leash and please make sure to pick up after your pet.

Can I take my dog to the Balloon Field?



No, the Balloon Fiesta Park, is a City of Albuquerque Park, in which dogs are not allowed. Dogs are not allowed at the park during Balloon Fiesta at any time.
