Campground fees for cats?
Before we bring our two furry feline ladies with us fulltiming in our fiver, it would be nice to know if we should expect to be charged campground fees for them or not. I can see it being reasonable for dogs on running lines, but housebound cats?

While I hesitate to say never I feel safe saying seldom will somebody worry about your cats. They don't usually get to go outside to do their business, don't bark when you are gone and don't usually terrorize your neighbors. Thus they are not something most people worry about.

Been taking cats with us for many years, now have seven and have never been charged extra even though one does go for walks on a leash.

I had one that charged me $5 for our cat. Next time we checked in and the question of pets came up, the answer was NO. No pets.

CGs have a 'pet' fee.............not a dog fee, not a cat fee, not a lizard fee----PET FEE
When asked "DO you have PETS' you are lying if you say NO and have a pet......any pet.
Why should going outside have anything to do with it?
My dog doesn't go swimming in the pool, doesn't use the shower facilities, doesn't go to rec center, doesn't use play area (even ones for dogs---too much crap) and I have to pay that PET Fee.
Statement is 1st paragraph on 'Pet Friendly Travel' website

Just saying........

Thanks,
Three clips hold the cage in place. Drops into place. Lift up to remove and the cage folds flat.

Is that cage designed for MHs, or did you adapt it to fit?

Thanks for prompt responses, guys. So... the answer to my question is no and... maybe in some places. I honestly can't figure how a fee for cats might be justified, unless they figure we'll burden their trash with bags of sandbox scoopings before we leave. On another note, I found this neat cat gear on Amazon. Anyone ever try out something like this with their cats?
